Pinecrest8 is located in Pinecrest Estates, part of the Sea to Sky corridor, across the highway from Daisy Lake, a private gated community of 75 homes set in 125 tree-covered acres in the middle of the Sea to Sky corridor.

Pinecrest Estates was established 25 years ago and now mostly consists of permanent full time residents. Pinecrest has recreational facilities developed for the use of its residents only.
